My Girl

I know this is way past due, but that is how everything seems to be going in my life right now! I wanted to dedicate this post to my beautiful daughter. Harley turned 2 years old April 11. I can't believe that she is already 2 and that she isn't this little baby anymore.

She is such an amazing girl. She is smart, beautiful, rambunctious, loving, and she loves life. She is so happy all of the time and I love her so much! This year her birthday was on a tuesday so she and I had a little celebration at home with singing and a small gift (the bullseye that you can see pictured below), Auntie Cassie brought her that huge bear (which was a hit with everyone in our house, I'm not kidding there was an argument as to whose room it should go in!), and then we went out for a date with her to Coldstone when daddy got home from work.

This video is her singing happy birthday in the car on the way to Coldstone. Every time through out the day if I would ask her if it was her birthday, or how was her birthday going, she would burst into song.

This year for her birthday instead of making cake we decided to attempt Cake Pops. It actually wasn't quite as hard as we had anticipated once we got into the swing of things. They were a huge hit and we are excited for the next opportunity we have to make them! Since it was near Easter we did some of them as little chicks and then the rest with just sprinkles, and Albert made the stand for us from scratch!

We had a big family get together the sunday following her birthday at the park and enjoyed time with cousins and had cake pops and she got to open presents (Thank you everyone!) which was such a blast and really relaxed.

Crazytown

Things here have been crazy, but who would expect anything else! I figured that I would just do quick bite sized updates rather than an overwhelming one. This one is mostly pictures starting with Harley in her new big girl bed. She actually did really well with the switch and loves being a big girl, of course.

We have been going to as many Shock games as we can, and they are a blast! Although this picture is not the greatest, since family pictures are few and far between, I am posting this anyway!

Harley loves to be in the kitchen with me, here we are making dark chocolate brownie ice cream! It was awesome!

We also got to take a trip over to see the Shaver fam. We went for Sundaelee's baby shower which was so fun. The kids did a lot of cooking with Grandma (Harley) and Sleeping on everyone (Covelli), needless to say we had a lot of fun!

Ollo!!!! (Anyone?),

We have been gloriously busy and loving it. Yes I am behind on blogging but isn't that always the case?

Here is Timmy accepting a donation from NIC to the Special Olympics at the halftime of an NIC bball game...

We were so blessed to be able to have all of Albert's family come for Covelli's baby blessing. We had such a blast and are sad that it had to be such a short trip. Here are some pictures of their time here...

I finally finished the quilt that I started making Harley right after she was born, it only took me a year and a half! In my defense I had to acquire and borrow some of the equipment I needed so that is the excuse I will use as to why it took so long! Here is little snapshot of it, it is actually quite large!

We were lucky enough to be invited to a birthday party at skate plaza a few weeks ago, so Harley got to go skating for the first time! She had such a blast and so did we, she was quite coordinated, I can't say the same for myself!

Lastly a few recent pictures of our little munchkins. We are just having so much fun with them. Harley is getting so big and will be two in april which I just can't believe. Covelli is just a happy boy and such a tank!

My motivation for blogging has been lacking as of late. The good news is that I seem to have mustered up some for this catch up blog. It will involve as far back as Covelli's birth and up to now, so brace yourself it might take awhile.

Worn Out

We have been having so much fun the last few weeks with the start of NIC Basketball. Harley loves to go to any sporting event so its great that we stay so busy. Harley is absolutely in love with the Cardinal at NIC, not just the mascot but any picture of the cardinal that she can find she has to point it out and at the game last night the Cardinal came and sat by her which she had been trying to get it to do all evening long. She loved it! Last week was a really busy one for us, we had basketball late one evening, grocery store trips, a football game and then a volleyball game that went right through naptime. The result is what you will witness in the video at the end.

Halloween

We had a really fun and laid back Halloween this year. We first got together with the fam and carved pumpkins...

After we got done carving our pumpkins we had a little relaxing time and ate these yummy Halloween cheesecakes that I made for everyone and watched some funny ones...

Then on Friday we made our delicious Pineapple Chili and made our way to the ward Chili cookoff and Trunk or Treat. Harley was a witch this year thanks to Auntie Kami for letting us borrow the costume! We had such a great time and actually placed third for our chili and won a prize :)

And lastly we went to Grandma and Grandpa's on Halloween for some delicious pizza and some trick or treating. We had such a fun time and were so proud of what a big girl Harley is turning into.

We made the mistake of trying to take our family picture at the end of the extravaganza and she did NOT want to wear her hat anymore so she was a bit sad. But overall we really had a great holiday and are excited for Thanksgiving to come!

Because Albert is doing school online, he is constantly sitting at the table reading a book or typing on his computer. The past few days when Harley is in her room playing this is what I find her doing. Sitting at her "desk" being just like daddy, its so cute and she will do it for a long time. She loves doing things just like we do and is such a goof, we love her so much!

We had so much fun at the fair this year. We spent alot of time with Grandmother, and went to the motocross and the rodeo. The rodeo is something I look forward to all year long and it never fails me. Harley enjoyed it alot this year and so that made it alot of fun as well. I was able to get my ever faithful italian sausage and of course it was amazing.

We got her cowboy hat at the fair and now she wears it at home, what a goof...

Can't wait for the fair again next year!

Too old? I think not!

It may be almost October but posts from the end of August surely are not too old. Regardless, here they are. We didn't get to spend much time on the boat this year because our schedules didn't mesh very well but we did manage to get in one beautiful day right at the end of August and thank goodness too because it was one of the last good boat days. Harley helped her Daddy drive around for a bit and then we parked and blew up the big floatie thing and just lounged it was great! It really wore us out (see picture Harley conked in car)....

We also spent alot of time with Grandma Davis at Shock games this year and we had so much fun!! Harley especially loved being there and still to this day sings we will we will shock you with her shock flag. We got to be at the arena cup and we won which was great! They threw out tons and tons of confetti at the end and we went down on the field for Tim to get some signatures on his Arena Cup football, and Harley loved it down there!

And lastly we have changed our little munchkins name to Covelli...just for an update!

Cars, Weddings, Babies

Our family has had alot going on lately...so I'm just going to try to combine everything in one post because I'm lazy!

We traded in the motorcycle and got this wonder, we love it and it fits our family perfectly right now and should for the next couple of years. And of course I love it because it is bright yellow.

We also moved back to Post Falls from Spokane. We moved into one of the sides of Cassie and Steven's duplex which we are totally loving. I love not having to drive 30 minutes each way every day. I don't have any pics but I will try to post some eventually (don't get your hopes up).

At the beginning of August my sister in law Sundaelee got married and so we traveled over to Seattle for that and had such a great time. It was so wonderful to be able to go into the temple with our family and also to get to spend some time with everyone from over that way.

While we were over there our neice Amelia took Harley's parachute dress pictures which turned out so freakin cute (at least I love them)! So here are a few and I had so much trouble picking which ones to put on here...

Lastly I went to the doctor this week and we found out that we are going to be bringing home a little brother for Harley around December 20th. We are very excited and a little scared because I have no boy stuff! Thank you to Cassie and Candy tho for lending me some baby boy clothes though! His name will be Ezekiel Davis Shaver nickname Zeke.

Behind

I know I am really behind in blogging, but I feel like I am really behind in a lot of things in my life as well. This last month we had to stay in a hotel due to some repairs that had to be done in our apartment. Hence me being behind in everything, cleaning, cooking (haven't cooked in a month), blogging, quilting, and many many more things. But I guess it's never too late to try to catch up right?

Other than me feeling behind, our little family is just chuggin along. Harley is getting so big, and just growing up so fast. Lately she loves puffy cheetos, dancing, being outside, and doing whatever the adults are doing. We have so much fun with her and are really excited to see what kind of personality this new baby will have.

These first pictures are of us at PF Changs, because of the damage in our apartment our insurance paid for us to stay in the hotel and paid for a certain amount of food so we took advantage of this and went to my favorite place! It was so delicious and Harley loved it too :)

Loving bathtime as always...

One of Harley's new things to do is brush her hair. She will do it with anything she finds, including her toothbrush. She also uses the little silver circle thing in the bathtub as a mirror which is hilarious. So here is a video of her brushing her hair, and just a cute one (we think its cute) of her after bathtime.

At our family reunion this past August, Alberts Grandmother (on his Mother's side) gave us a pair of shoes from Italy for Harley. They didn't fit her until about a week ago, and I just love them! I had to put some pictures up here so that Grandma can see that she wears them now!

The Sick Day

Wow it has really been too long since I have posted something new. There has been alot going on in our lives lately, let me give you a brief update:

~Some of Albert's fam came to visit for a little while, which was so great

~Albert lost his full time job, however he just started a new one this week thank goodness!

~We went for a weekend to Poulsbo which was super fun

~I have started watching the Javier kids full time

So I guess it wasn't as much as I thought, but it feels like alot.

We are just having so much fun with Harley. She is so active and crazy all of the time, and thinks that she is so hilarious. She loves watching Little Einsteins, and Auntie Abby and Maile girls, she LOVES the toy that you gave her with the hammer. I am sure she is just going to be the greatest big sister to the little baby that will be here in December :)

All Grown Up Now

We had so much fun with Harley on her birthday! It was very simple and laid back and was a perfect day for us to really love on her.

We started out her day by giving her a new car seat (thank you Grandma and Grandpa), which she got to test out on the way to church. She absolutely LOVED it, she felt so grown up!!!

When we got home from church she took a nap and Albert and I put the finishing touches on the family cake and her personal cake that I had made the night before. The sprinkle "ones" were Alberts idea....cute and blingy huh!!!! We did chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting in between the layers, with fudge frosting on the outside. I would have to say that they were a BIG hit! (Thank you Gma Shaver for ALL of the recipes)

We then headed over to Matt and Kami's where they so graciously hosted dinner. We had a ton of delicious food, and then got started on the presents! Thank you to everyone who brought something for her she loves it all, of course.

Our baby is growing up, and we are no where near ready for it. We have been so blessed to have been given the opportunity to have her in our lives.

The Wicked Traditions of our (Albert's) Fathers

Fine, I will admit that Albert's fathers aren't the only ones with wicked traditions, we have a few too, one of which you will read about below. Now onto Albert's family...

For Easter this year I attempted for the first time the Shaver family Easter tradition of Spudnuts. Lets just say they were UH-mazing (thats right, sound it out people), and like I said, wicked. Last year I was in the hospital having a baby and didn't get to have any.....sadness. I had forgotten how delicious they were until I tested the first one, and died.

Here are some pictures of the process....

(The below picture is posted ONLY to prove that I did in fact make the spudnuts myself, otherwise it would not be here for all of your eyes to behold)

We also enjoyed other wonderful activities on Sunday: Watching Conference at the Daines, Going out to the Daines Cabins (thank you Daines!!!!), having deli sandwiches and other such delicious foods, an Egg Hunt, the famous Davis family *Egg crack (my camera died so I didn't get any pictures of it), and finally Spudnuts for dessert!

*If you were perhaps curious what the egg crack is, the description is as follows: Someone (Cassie) hard boils 12 eggs and decorates (Javier's and Steven) those and an additional 12 eggs that are raw, so that they can not be distinguished one from another.

We then start from oldest to youngest and the person whose turn it is gets to pick someone, the head of which, they would like to crack an egg on. It continues on from there with some people ending up with egg all over them and some (me) who are lucky enough to have gotten a hard boiled egg. It is a fun and messy tradition that we love!

We were lucky enough to be given tickets to the first Shock game (thank you Javiers, and Dad Davis), and we had such a blast!! Harley especially loved it, you can tell by her obvious inability to focus on the camera during the video. She loved the noise, and the music, and pretty much everything about it. Please ignore my over enthusiasm in the video, I was trying unsuccessfully to get her to notice the camera. Like I said, UNsuccessfully.

The Moving Process

This picture doesn't really have to do with our move, but it was just too cute to pass up. I miss those cutie pie Daines munchkins!!!

Ok, so this picture doesn't have to do with the move either...lets just ignore the fact that I am so easily distracted.....ignored? Perfect.

This one however, is the Harster being her usual crazy self in her bare naked crib while I do all of the packing. Why couldn't she have packed her own clothes? What is she a baby or something?

And finally, sacked out in her crib in her very own room. We couldn't be more excited about this new arrangement. Pictures of the house to come....I'm stringing you along. Is it working? I knew it!

I am waiting to take pictures until the day that we get our couch back. It had mold on it when we got it out of the storage unit and is in the process of being cleaned. But AFTER that, I promise you will get some pictures (very much anticipated I'm sure!) of our new abode.

I know I haven't posted in a while, but there isn't really much new going on around here. Albert has been working alot and doing school simultaneously which in turn means that we don't see him much. I am so proud of him for all of his hard work and sacrifice, I appreciate it so much. We are in the process of looking for a place to rent which we are really excited for, so if you know of a place that isn't advertised please let us know! I don't have any pictures to post, but I do have this video of Harley from a little while ago. It is a little long but definitely is a good example of what a silly pants she is. She is getting so so close to walking and is saying words like Hi, and bite. We have so much fun with her and can't believe she has been in our lives for almost a year!!!!! Enjoy the video :)

Don't worry, we cover her when she sleeps so she can't wake us up with the lights any time she wants, now THAT would be annoying haha, we love you Harley!

Daily this image materializes obnoxious and unwanted.

However, we share an extreme love hate relationship.

My distaste lasts from the moment I step foot onto it, up until the very moment I pull that red cord off and the evil machine finally shuts off.

After which, my love radiates through my body until the next morning when I wake up, and then the tables are once again turned.

Unfortunately for me 90% of the time I don't get to step foot on the blasted thing until well into the evening, so the love doesn't last long.

Grandma, Grandpa, and Basketball

The North Pole

On Monday for Family Home Evening, Grandmother got us all tickets to the North Pole. The North Pole in Coeur d' Alene that is. Daddy had to work but Harley and I got all bundled up and rode with the Daines down to the resort where we met up with the rest of the fam.

Here we are waiting for the boat, we sang Christmas songs and froze to death with each other...

There were lots of pretty lights and it was so much fun to watch out the window...

I attempted to take a picture of Harley and I together but to no avail. The following pictures are all of the attempts....

Finally Auntie Candy came to my rescue and took one for me...the fact that she smiled was a miracle, she NEVER smiles for the camera!

I realized on the last day of our Thanksgiving visit to Poulsbo that I took NO pictures! What a crazy person! We had a great time there and enjoyed the time with our family. Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic of course, who would expect anything less from those Shavers! Also in catch up, Harley is rapidly becoming a toddler, AT 8 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! This isn't working for me. She has teeth, is crawling, and is pulling herself up on things, and I am sure will be walking soon. We love her and are so excited for this new stage of growing up for our little girly! This picture is of her being such a big girl sitting in the cart at the store.

And this is my tribute to it being fall and so chilly outside that I just want to curl up in a blanket :)

Thats right you guessed it a big fat poop. Cooper was having some tub tub time and I came in to get him out and to clean up the toys and discovered that there was something other than toys in there with him. How horrifying for us, but luckily Albert saved the day and cleaned it all up. What a great husband, and uncle :)

This year was Harley's first halloween, and it was very low-key which was perfect. We made mac and cheese, visited Paul Mitchell the School, went to Grandmothers, and then home to play scene it with the "adults". Thank you Auntie Candy for the Mermaid costume!!! All in all it was a fun day, and Harley loved being with her cousins and holding her own pumpkin full of treats :)

A Great Example

Last night my brother-in-law Naki passed away. It happened suddenly and quickly, and it was a huge shock. He was a great example of selfless love and of being a strong and faithful priesthood holder. There is so much more that could be said about what a wonderful father, husband, and man that he was, but at the moment I don't have enough words. We will miss you.

As many of you already know, Albert and I as a family have decided to move to the Coeur d' Alene area. This decision has come by much discussion, prayer, fasting and patience. There are many opportunities that have made themselves known to us over the last few weeks that we just couldn't pass up. I just need to say what a great blessing the Spirit is to me. We would not have been able to make this decision with out the comfort that Heavenly Father has given us through the Holy Ghost. We are so blessed to have his presence with us always, and to be able to have the knowledge that the choices we are making in our lives are the right ones. Even though they may be scary and unknown. So once again I am packing our things (for the fourth time in our marriage of one year and 4 months haha) and Harley and I will be leaving Washington around the first of October, and Albert will be following soon after. A HUGE shout out to Cassie and Steven for being our own personal live savers and letting us stay there until we get things sorted out. And an even BIGGER shout out goes to Matt and Kami for letting my little kitty stay with them, since she cant be around Steven. We are VERY excited, even a little nervous but we know that this is the right thing for our family at this moment. We are sad to leave all of those we have grown to love while we have lived here, and extremely sad to leave our wonderful family here, who are so good to us.

Other than that, there is not much new going on in our lives haha. Harley is getting so big and is such a doll!! She is rolling all over the house, and trys to mimick what we say which is hilarious :) She just keeps getting longer and longer but doesn't seem to have the chunkyness we thought she would. She has the best giggle, and it is so fun to try and get it out of her! Daddy and Uncle Pasquale, and Uncle Isaac are the best at it.....apparently we are going to have a problem with boys haha!

I am so sorry that I have been missing in action for the last 6 weeks, things have been so hectic!! So beware this is going to be a long post....

Here are some updates, and the pictures following the thought are the pictures that go with the experience:

I am not going to be coaching volleyball, I decided that it just wasn't the right thing for our family at the moment. The good thing is that at any point I know I can go and find someplace to coach.

We had a fun overnight/camping trip at Gma and Gpa Shaver's house which was really fun we watched movies outside on the trailer and made a fire and had smores, SO FUN!!!!!

I woke up one morning with my jaw out of place, I couldn't bite down or close my mouth all the way, it hurt so badly!! So come to find out you can go to the chiropractor and have your jaw put back in place, it is very painful, but worth it in the end :)

One day while I was at work at the Shaver office, Gma was holding Harley and I heard her call my name, so I went in and found this......

I just got back from a three and a half week trip, first to Leavenworth to go camping with the Shaver crew, which was a blast! On our way there ALbert, Caleb, Harley, and I went hiking, and I fell in :(

After which, Harley and I drove to CDA for a family reunion and a wedding, during that week we got to stay at the Daines' cabins which are so amazing, Thank you Daines fam!! (the cabin's are the blue and the white!)

The wedding was so perfectly sweet, and I just love Kami so much. I love seeing Matt smile when she is around, and hearing him talk about her when she isn't, Love you Kam (and your little ones too!!!)

The next week we stayed with Cassie and Steve and Candy ;) And Albert came for the weekend and we got to go see Brian Regan, which was AMAZING!!! We went to PF Changs first which was yummy :)

During the week Cassie and Candy and I made flowers and bows for the our baby girls to wear, and they are so cute, I am so proud of us!

We got to have dinner with the Davis and Javier fams a few nights which was fun :)

That weekend was the 4th of July, which Albert got to come for! We went to the parade downtown CDA which is always a blast, to the river, and then to the Daines' for the fireworks, which was soooo fun!On Sunday we drove back to Poulsbo and I got sort of caught up on all of my chores hahaha and then had to go to a team volleyball camp at Western Washington University. It was the last volleyball thing I was responsible for so even though it was very stressful with Harley in tow, since I had to stay in the dorms for four days and carry her non stop. She got really off of her schedule, so we have a lot of work to do for the next 4 weeks before we go on the Shaver family reunion.

Not much else is going on at the moment, and I promise that I will be better at posting from now on :)

It's volleyball season again, and I am not feeling any motivation whatsoever to coach this year, however I can't just bail out on Keith (the head coach) now. I didn't really want to do it last year but knew that it would be a good experience, and it was, but it didn't change my mind really about doing it this year. Except I was too slow to make the decision that I didn't want to do it again this year, and so he wouldn't have had enough time to find someone else....it is going to be very difficult to do practices and especially games with Harley, in fact I really don't know how I am going to do it. Especially with the late night games and things, I am never going to get to see her. I am kicking myself for not making the decision quicker. I don't know what to do now, I guess I don't really have a choice, I will just have to figure it out. Ugh I need motivation, and some sort of belief in myself that I can do this both literally and mentally. Sorry for the venting.

It seems I may have been a little too hasty in assuming I could wear it and shoving it on my finger. And due to the fact that it has some moderately pointy edges it is at times quite painful. Poop

Lovely Days

We have had a beautiful couple of weekends here in monsoonville, and so we have worked and played as much as we could! Last weekend we spent our Saturday outside, washing vehicles and Albert worked on a lawn mower for a man in our ward....So Harley and I basked in the wonderful sunlight and read books :) I got a wonderful farmers tan however, but oh well, I will take sun where I can get it haha!

While we had so much fun, we kind of got worn out from all of that vitamin D! See below....

This weekend we woke up early and went to the Temple for a sealing session, which I was glad that we got to do this month since it will be our one year anniversary at the end of the month, I wanted to get that in somewhere so we could remind ourselves of the promises and covenants we made. Harley got to spend some quality time with her Uncle Scott, while we were in our session, he was so wonderful to drive to the temple and watch her for us! On our way to the temple while we were on the ferry we saw the coolest thing, a submarine going through the water right next to us it was so cool!

On a side note, I have been able to get my wedding ring back on every few days or so, which is so exciting! I haven't worn it in quite some time due to the swelling and such.....I actually cried the first time I got it onto my finger about a week ago....you know the hormones :)

Beware....this is a very long post, I had a backlog of pictures because we do not have the internet at the moment. I wanted to dedicate the first part of this post to my sweet husband, as it is his 24th birthday today. I always told myself that I would find someone who would take care of me and that would be good enough, but I never in a million years dreamed that I would find someone who truly loves me, who would sincerely appreciate me for who I really am, who treats me like a princess, who honors his priesthood, and who does so many more things there are too many to name. Happy Birthday sweetheart, I love you!

So now for the update on our lives, last thursday we moved as I talked about in a previous post. We found a place that is a good size for our little fam, and is a good price as well. Alberts brothers and the Shaver's home teacher helped us move and we were able to move it all in one day, which was awesome. Thanks guys!! Then on Sunday we had Harley's baby blessing which was so amazing, it was really an eyeopening experience to be able to see Albert take her up there and tell her the blessings that she can recieve from her Heavenly Father. I was really reassured of the strength and the truthfulness of the Preisthood. The rest of the pictures are just updates of little Harley girl. She is growing so fast!! She is just over 11 lbs and I have had to put away all of her newborn clothes, which makes me sad....oh well. She is really starting to focus her eyes, and is also getting more vocal, which is cute (at the moment). She is really a great baby, she and I go to work, and do tons of things together! She loves to have shower time with Daddy, and loves her Uncles too, the last picture is her with her uncle Pasquale. Well thats all I have time to write at the moment!!! Oh and I am not so happy about posting these pictures of myself, but I have to document that I do in fact spend time holding and loving my child!! Oh yeah and I got my wedding ring on today....I cried, you know the hormones :O Love you all, enjoy the pictures!!

Week 1

I thought I would just give a brief overview of Harley's first week! We left the hospital Monday afternoon, and then went to Walmart to grab a few things that we needed (thank you mamma), then went home and settled in nicely. On Tuesday Uncle Scott came for a visit and brought lots of yummy foods....

On Wednesday Harley had her first doctors appointment where the doctor told us that everything looks great, then we headed to petco and walmart to grab a few more things. After that we went home to find Grandpa Davis and Uncle Tim on the porch waiting for us!! So we got all rested up and then went to a family dinner at the Shaver's, where everyone got a nice turn to hold her, after which she was very exhausted lol.

Here she is all bundled up for the day....this warm thingy is just slightly too big, as can be seen by picture number 1...

Here she is after we got home from Walmart, what a long day already, and still more to go!!! She is such a trooper!

The next few are of the dinner with the Fam...

On Thursday Grandma, Grandpa and Timmy drove back to CDA and Harley and I had our first day home by ourselves, and it went great! She is such a good little! We just kicked it at home in our sweats relaxing from the busy day we had just had! On Friday I had a hair appointment (thank you Mamma) and so Albert, Harley, and I packed up and spent some time at the beauty parlor! She slept through the entire thing, with no problem, thank goodness. I don't have a picture of my hair yet but I will take one in the next few days so that everyone can see. I love it, it makes me feel so much better! After our appointment we went home for a nap and lunch, and then packed up again and went to Seattle to have dinner with a friend of Albert's from his mission who is here to ride motorcycles at the supercross event that is going on. She also slept through that whole experience in a sling on her daddy's shoulder! He said he was making up for the nine months that I had to carry her around haha, I don't have any pictures of that sadly I didn't even think of it. And lastly, today Harley and I took a walk to Grandma's and Grandpa's to get some exercise, and enjoy the nice day. Kaylee came over for dinner to hang out with us, while Albert went back over to Seattle to go and watch his friend ride.

HARLEY girl is here!!!! She arrived at 10:50 pm. Weighed 9 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is a big healthy girl and isnt to loud. The pictures are in the wrong order but you get the idea! Congrats to Liz and Albert. And welcome to the world baby Harley

So shortly after being given the epidural and the insertion of the catheter, things were just kind of mellow around here...then all of a sudden we hear a loud beeping noise and 2 doctors and 1 nurse rushed in here at the speed of light!!! Don't worry though, they ran into the wrong room first and freaked that lady out then came rushing in here. Harley's heart rate dropped a little but its all back to normal! Liz is enjoying her epidural and fresh oxygen.

THE MAN IS HERE!!!

Ok so after some very intense and painful contractions, they decided to get an epidural!! These pictures are in the wrong order...So upon deciding to get it, she was told she couldn't get it until she received 2 bags of fluid!!! Liz was not so happy...The second picture is the evil bag of fluid! After about an hour, the MAN OF THE HOUR came in and she received the epidural. At this point she is dilated to an 8 and is feeling very good! All we can say is keep waiting patiently. And thanks so much for all the support through texts, phone calls and comments! Ill post more soon and hopefully it will be about little Harley girl!!

My sister-in-law Jessie and her husband Tim took a trip to Las Vegas this week and tonight our nephews are spending some quality time with their Uncle. They just love him, and bring all sorts of things to do with him, their favorite being XBox. So here I am sitting next to all of these boys, who are mesmerized by the video game they are playing, while I try to find something to do! As I am sitting here I am just listening to them trash talk each other, and Logan lost the last time, and said "thats just sheep!" I am assuming that he meant cheap but one can never know hee hee. I am one lone girl here since my normally social cat has taken refuge hiding in our closet....traiter. I suppose these guys can be overwhelming!

Thats right MOVE!!!!!

Albert and I were sick the other day and couldn't go to church and so we were reading in the general conference ensign. The talk we were reading was called "Let him do it with simplicity" by Elder L. Tom Perry, and in it he talks about simplifying your life, especially when it comes to your expenses, and living within your income. We really thought about that and realized that we were just stretching things too thin. So we decided that it would be best to find someplace smaller and that had a cheaper rent for the time being until we can get caught up again. We also went to the temple last month and were hoping to find an answer to what we could do to help us with our income, and I think we found it, I am sure there are other things we could do also but this is a start. So we are moving AGAIN!!!! I actually feel good about this even though I despise moving haha. We actually found a place right away which made us feel even more so that this is the right thing to do. We drove by today and peeked inside and the outside is a little shabby but can be spruced up with a little lawn work, and the inside looks pretty good. We are in the process of contacting the owners, and hopefully we will get to go there tomorrow and get some more questions answered. Your prayers would be appreciated, and hopefully we will know more soon!!

1. I cannot stand to have the windshield wipers still up after the car is off, I think this is something that I aquired whilst living in this monsoon state :) lucky me.

2. I get ready in the same way every day. If I don't follow my routine my day is completely a mess haha, I have to shower, and do all of my shower stuff in the right order, and then get out and brush my teeth and do my hair, then my make-up, and then get dressed and put my jewelry on, and then my shoes go on last. Weird, but if it gets messed up my day just isn't the same.

3. I love NAPS!!!! I can convince myself to wake up early on the days that I have to, if I tell myself that I can take a nap later!

4. I don't really walk around bare foot because I don't like the feel of things on my feet, so I will wear slippers almost all the time. I just don't like feeling gritty things on my feet :)

5. I pick my outfit based on the shoes I want to wear that day :) and sometimes I will go through 10 or so outfits just to find one that matches the shoes that I want to wear.

6. I like to type, I know its weird but I just like to hear the sound of the keys, and know that I can look at the screen and type what I want without looking at the keyboard. It's the little things in life!!

Shower Time!!!

No no no this is not about actual showering, but about my BABY SHOWER!!

I know I am a slacker, because this shower was on the seventh of this month, and I am just now posting about it. I have to first say thank you to Kaylee and Jessie for so graciously throwing this shower for Harley, and I. It was such a blast, and I got to see some people who I haven't seen in a while so that was great! I also have to say thank you for all who were able to attend, you made it so fun! Another thank you (a big one) goes out there for all of the gifts that we recieved, I cannot express how grateful we are, because of all of you we have the things that we need in order to be ready for Harley girl! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! So I have a few pictures to put up, I also have video but I can't quite seem to get that to work at the moment, so its pictures you get!! I know it seems like alot, but believe me I had to work my way down to just these few!!!

You are all lucky your getting to see any of these pictures, because I wouldn't put them up if I hadn't been forced, not because I don't want to show the baby shower, only because I feel HUGE!!!! Oh well it comes with the territory I suppose :)

Everything looked great on the ultrasound today, no placental problems, Woo Hoo!!!! They estimated that I am actually about 35 weeks along and due about March 28th, and that she is about 5 lbs and 15 oz! Yay!!!! So everything is great!!! Love The Shavers

I just thought I would give everyone a little update...Today I started spotting, but I've stopped now. I went to the Doctor and they monitored the baby and said that she is fine, and scheduled me for an ultrasound tomorrow to make sure that everything is a ok! So hopefully things go well!

Can't get Enough!

I didn't really have anything very exciting going on in my life right now to blog about, so I thought that I would just show everyone what I can't seem to get enough of right now.

1. The Office. The last few are more like the old ones which I have enjoyed.

2. Reading! And thank you to Cassie for letting me borrow this book, I loved it!!!

3. Sour Patch Kids.

4. Bath Taking, even though my bath tub is not nearly as luxurious as this one, in fact I barely fit in it sadly enough, but for some reason I love it all the same.

5. Lord of the Rings. Which I had to put two pictures of because the first one did not have a good enough picture of Legolas :)

6. Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Milk of course. I find that every sunday I am making the dough and putting it in the fridge so that I have some for the week :O , and luckily for me I never run out of milk ;)

7. Fringe, and for any of you who have not watched it, I think that it is just awesome!

8. Mexican Food, and luckily we have found some great ones lately one that is only a few minutes from our house and not too expensive!!!

9. Blackberrys, I don't have one but I want one so bad, and I find myself looking at peoples phones to see if they have one, it's terrible.

10. My husband learning about child birth and what to expect. I am so comforted that he is gaining the knowlege to help me to be able to relax and be comfortable and not have to worry about being the responsible one during this whole experience. And that he is learning all that he can to help me since I want to try and do this naturally. I love listening to him ask other people questions about their experience so he can better know what to expect, and also asking the Doctor great questions so that we are as ready as we can be! Love you Babe!

So those are the things that lately I just can't seem to get enough of, and I am sure people around me especially my hubby are getting tired of them! But oh well :)

So my husband has been bugging me since the family reunion to put these pictures up and I have been putting it off....ok don't freak out (mostly mom).....So on our family reunion trip, Albert taught me how to ride his motorcycle...it was really fun!

Birthday Weekend

I am now officially not a teenager any longer......although I never really felt like I was one. I am now 20 years old which still never ceases to shock people. I think that may be one of my favorite things is when people find out I am not as old as they had originally thought :). Since my birthday was on a sunday this year we did most of the celebrating on Saturday, which was so fun. I first had to work, and then Albert took me to Outback Steakhouse which was yummy as always, and after that he informed me that we would be going home to decorate my cake, which I was not all that thrilled about, but to my amazement I had a great time and it was such a fun activity!!! He made carrot cake in the shape of superwoman and we made frosting and decorated her! We are definitely amatuers but it was great fun. In the end she ended up looking more like a hula dancer than wonder woman but oh well haha......

Those of you who know my father in law whether you are related to him, see him at church, saw him at the wedding, know about his wonderful eyebrows. He has never trimmed them EVER, and yesterday decided to have them trimmed. That is a miracle all in itself, and to make it even more shocking he also decided to shave off his mustache that he has only ever shaved one time. So we all had to trek along to the barber for this miraculous event.........sooooooooo here are the before and after pictures. Oh yes and the measurement of his eyebrows was.......drumroll please.......2 inches long!!!!!! Wow yes I know.

Ok people I'm back, (at least for now)...and I know you are all just jumping for joy!!! So first off I just have to say happy birthday to all of my wonderful siblings; Candy, Cassie, Matt, Scott, and Katie. I love you guys so much and cannot even begin to express how much you mean to me, I don't know where I would be without your amazing examples, and love, I would not be the person I am without all of you. Ok so now everyone climb in your time machines and come back with me to December.......(I know don't remind me I am a slacker!!). At the beginning of December my amazing husband took me to go and get our first Christmas tree, which I was so beyond excited for! The tree is one of my favorite parts of the season, so we went to Home Depot and picked one out and then I decorated it with lights and ornaments that I got from my mother-in-law. I of course had to keep asking him if he saw any holes in the lights to which he would reply "what the heck are you talking about?" so of course I realized that I am a crazy person, but luckily I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! So we enjoyed our tree for a while and then also got to enjoy some freak snow storms, and then we flew to Spokane and enjoyed the Christmas holiday with our fun Idaho family! We had so much fun and got to relax and totally get pampered! We loved our time there and are so excited for when we get to go back! So happy belated holidays!! Love you all, The Shavers

I am terrible I know it, but ever since I changed jobs and lost the internet at my house I have just been such a lazy blogger!!! So this one won't have any pictures but I can at least update those that are interested.....I only have 12 weeks left in my pregnancy...woo hoo!!!! I started a new job at a place called Dream Dinners and I really enjoy it, although I am just not sure how I will keep it once Harley baby comes, and really not much else is going on! Well Hello everyone, I'm back and definitely in a better mood than the last time! Just thought I would give you a little update on us. I may have found a family with a 2 year old boy who's daycare just closed, and there is still a part time job open at dream dinners. We are going today to look at a couple of really nice houses in Poulsbo that are for rent, which I am very excited for. We are hoping to get moved within the next week or two which would just be great for me as I am tired of having to walk up and down the stairs five times a night to go to the bathroom, and, of working in the smallest kitchen ever!!! The Varsity team had their last day of districts on Saturday and lost so I will not be going to Tri cities, and I am done with volleyball which is just a huge relief, I can actually make dinner now haha (if I go to the grocery store). I feel really good lately because Albert has been great and is doing my tae bo with me in the morning before he leaves for work so that I am more motivated to do it ;) thanks babe, and I am starting to look prego and not just chubby haha. I cannot wait to go to CDA for Christmas and have lots of fun treats, and watch fun movies and get to spend time with family. I am also excited to go to vanity while I am there so that I can actually have more than just one pair of jeans to wear, it sucks!!! And last but not least, I have been acquiring some baby things such as; a crib (thank you Jessie), a car seat (one of my volleyball girl moms) and a high chair (my friend Tammi), and the cutest little teddy bear (thank you mommy), and last but not least my first little outfit from my sister-in-law that I have hanging on our banister so that we can look at it every day! I am just so excited for this little girl to come! I seriously have baby fever...every time I see a baby I just want it lol. Although I think Patch is fearful that we are hanging it there to torture her, and that we (and by we I mean Albert) are going to put it on her sometime soon hahaha. But anywho, here is a picture of the little outfit, thank you Jessie I love it!!!! Well thats all for now!!!
