So I have finally cracked under the peer pressure and have started my blog. I have to admit before I get any further into this post that I LOVE PICTURES!!!! So if you are one of those people who would rather read than look, then avert your eyes!! I just thought that for this post I would catch everyone up on what Albert and I have been up to for the past month and a half. So it's gonna be a long one :) First off we have the wedding which I am sure you are tired of seeing pictures of but I cannot help myself, I just love them! (Thank you Randi!) So here are a few...
Next we have some of the goings on around our little apartment, the first picture is of the first loaf of bread that I made in the breadmaker that Albert's mom gave to us. I am really unsure of what exactly happened to that poor bread...and don't worry all loaves following have been beautiful!! And the second picture is just one example of Albert's obsession with our wittle kitty Patch. He CANNOT leave her alone, he has to wrestle her and play with her nonstop. The second he walks in the door he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame! He actually was messing with her so much that she was shedding terribly, soooooo we took her in to the groomers for a small haircut, and now she looks like a lion.
About a month ago the Shaver crew decided to take a small camping trip to Leavenworth for fathers day. We packed up the Harleys and the 5th wheel and headed out. We had beautiful weather and rode the harley's to the Grand Coulee dam and then spent some time in downtown Leavenworth. It was a great time for the boys to let loose and have some down time (which means Harley time) and Mom Shaver got some time to relax and read a book (which never happens). So here are some pictures of the dam and some of the motorcycles on the way back to Leavenworth.
Ok you can do it, I'm almost done ;) So our next adventure was the BB King concert that we went to on the 3rd of July. I have never been to a concert like that before it was so fun. So like I said we went on the 3rd, and then decided that we were going to drive home to CDA that same night when the concert was over, so that we could be there for the 4th! It was a VERY long drive but it was totally worth it we had a blast!! I didn't take too many pictures of the weekend but I did take some of our visit to Cooper the Horse, and of our time on the boat! Some of the other things that we got to do though included; a parade, delectable desserts (thank you Ginny), family dinners/bbqs, fireworks, and a baby blessing! Thank you so much to Mom and Dad for hosting us that weekend, and to everyone else who was there it was such a fun trip! And here are some pictures...(Also the series of photos of albert and I together on the boat were all attempts at me trying to get him to actually smile)
So finally I have been forced to post this picture of my finally realizing that even though we don't have a full sized mirror in our house I can see almost all of my outfit if I stand on the toilet and look in that mirror...and Albert insisted that I post it on my blog (that I hadn't even started)...so after all of the many pictures and the startling length of this my first blog I am now finished. Don't count on too much after this hahaha just kidding...love to all hope that caught you up on we Shavers!
